PRIVACY POLICY FOR CANDIDATE DRIVERS

By submitting the information specified in the inquiry fields and/or sending the Curriculum Vitae (CV) by e-mail, I agree that the personal data specified in the inquiry fields and/or my Curriculum Vitae and its annexes, including but not limited to the name, surname, date of birth, photo, address, telephone number, e-mail address, education, foreign languages used, additional training, driver’s license, previous work experience (name of the company, duties, working periods) would be processed by Girteka group companies specified in Appendix no. 1 (hereinafter – Girteka)* for the purpose of employee selection.

I consent to the provision and use of the personal data contained in the inquiry fields and/or my Curriculum Vitae and its annexes by Girteka group companies (hereinafter – Companies), which are established in EU Member States and/or other third countries, in accordance with the standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission, in relation to my candidacy for a specific position (I have the right to ask the recruiter to provide information on the company and the country in writing prior to giving this consent). The personal data I have provided may be transferred to companies affiliated with the Companies, which will ensure its adequate protection and confidentiality. I am aware that companies supervising information systems that act on behalf of the Companies as a data controller may have the right to access personal data. I am aware that my personal data may be disclosed to third parties in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.

I am informed that if I contact the Companies and submit an identity document or in accordance with the procedure established by legal acts by electronic means of communication, which allow me to properly identify a person who has confirmed my identity, I have the right to:

  • have access to my personal data, including the recipients to whom the personal data have been transmitted;
  • demand the correction of incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate personal data;
  • require the restriction of processing operations (except for storage) or the destruction of data (if I withdraw my consent);
  • data portability (to obtain personal data from the Company or its affiliates, or to request the transfer of my personal data to the specified data controller);
  • right to oppose to the processing of personal data.

I am aware that my personal data will be stored for 9 (nine) months from the moment of receipt or from the moment of my participation in the job interview, and, if I have given my separate consent, will be processed for a period of 5 (five) years from the end of the calendar year in which I gave my consent, for the purpose of offering future vacancies. An additional legal basis for the retention of personal data for a period of 5 (five) years is the written consent of the individual.

I am aware that if I have any questions or complaints regarding the processing of my personal data, I may contact the Companies by e-mail duomenuapsauga@girteka.eu. If I have any complaints, I can also contact the supervisory authority, which is the State Data Protection Inspectorate in the Republic of Lithuania (A. Juozapavičiaus g. 6, 09310 Vilnius; Tel. (8 5) 271 2804, 279 1445; e-mail: ada@ada.lt).

I am also informed that I have the right to withdraw this consent, in whole or in part, at any time by sending a request to the Companies by email duomenuapsauga@girteka.eu. I understand that this may prevent me from receiving relevant job offers.

Direct marketing performed by Girteka, consists of:

  • newsletters, job offers and surveys by e-mail or by phone.

The legal basis for the personal data processing is the consent given by a person for their personal data processing for direct marketing purposes.

The following personal data is provided by a person and is processed for direct marketing purposes: the person’s name, surname, e-mail, phone number.

For direct marketing purposes, the collected personal data can be processed for 2 (two) years following the receipt of consent.

The person who has given the consent always has the right to unsubscribe to all or part of the direct marketing offers at any time. This can be done by clicking on the link in the newsletter/offer received, which allows to opt out of receiving all or part of the direct marketing offers. It is also possible to unsubscribe from direct marketing offers by writing an email to duomenuapsauga@girteka.eu. Declining direct marketing offers does not have negative consequences, only that the relevant offers, newsletters or other direct marketing information will no longer be provided in the future.

* The Companies or its affiliates means the Companies and all other legal entities that are directly and/or indirectly controlled by the same persons who directly and/or indirectly control the Companies.
